Having a child is a journey for many individuals, with excitement, joy potential heartaches, ups, and downs. During this course, you will learn how to support an individual through this process in all of the different paths their fertility journey might take them down.
Whether clients are coming to you for information on pre-conception, pregnancy prevention, or guidance through the many options available when fertility does not come easily, this course will give you the knowledge and confidence to support them using a holistic approach and your own community resources.
Our Fertility Doula workshop is like no other workshop offered in this subject before!
Designed by those who have undergone the experience of fertility and preconception this course will deepen your confidence in compassionate support and practices related to fertility, preconception, and holistic modalities and options for support.
Our unmatched mentorship will ensure that becoming a Fertility Support Practitioner is an exciting experience that will lead you to a rewarding aspect of your support options.
Our Doula Canada team is led by working doulas and practitioners who know the commitment and dedication involved in supporting our communities. We provide significant mentorship, first-hand experience, and peer-to-peer support.

This course will be divided into 8 different modules with a variety of topics related to your support as a Fertility Doula and Support Practitioner.
Each section of your 8 module certification program will have a quiz at the end (done online), and a total of 6 assignments. Â The quizzes are to test your knowledge, and the assignments will be designed to help you prepare for a job helping individuals with fertility support in your community.
There will be a total of 6 online sessions, one every two weeks, covering 1-2 sections per discussion. Â This is a time to learn, check in, and ask questions. Attendance is mandatory, with some flexibility for dates and times.
There is also a book for required reading, and a one page book report due.
The cost of the program will include your reference guide materials (electronic copies for PDF link access), mentorship through email, phone and online webinar sessions, grading, exam fee, and one-time Doula Canada membership.

The Business of It Fertility Support
Upon completing this program students will have completed a minimum of 32 direct contact hours with your instructor, excluding assignments, your exam, your practicum, and your online module work.
Each student has 24 months to complete the following practitioner requirements:
​​Cost of any chosen educational units costs are not included in registration fee. Doula Canada does not charge any outside fees, membership fees or recertification fees.
Students who do not complete the program in the 24 month timeframe may request a continuance to the next session (a $150 administrative fee will apply).
Our Fertility Support Practitioner program is set at a one-time membership and certification fee of ​$425 (+ tax) for full recognition and completion with Doula Canada.
We do not charge annual membership or renewal fees.
The cost of required readings (1 total) and the cost of educational unit workshops or webinars for EU credits (8 total) are additional costs to the student. We encourage you to seek out free or low-cost options.
