Self-Study Programs
Our self-study programs include:
- Postpartum Topics
- Breastfeeding Support & Knowledge
- Holistic Practices & Knowledge
- Excelled Business
- Sex & Birth Training (coming soon)
- Complicated Births (coming soon)
These courses are completed online at your own pace. You will move through modules and complete lessons. At the end of each module (typically 4 modules), you will take a quiz to test your knowledge. Our passing percentage is 80% for most quizzes (you may retake quizzes).
Once you have completed the course and passed all quizzes you will be granted a certificate that you can print. You will also always have access to this certificate in your online account.
Each online course also qualifies for 6 Educational Units – and once you’ve completed the course you’ll see those course points added to your profile.
How to Register for Self Study:
- Registration is easy. Simply go to the course page (as listed above) and choose ‘register for this course’. Or you can go straight to our Doula Shop and add a course to your cart.
- Checkout with one or more courses. Through the checkout process you will create an account with us. Keep a note of your username and password!
- Once your order has processed we will send you a confirmation email.
- Login to your account at https://doulatraining.ca/my-account/
- You will now see a new menu item for ‘my courses’ – go here to view your enrolled courses and start your certification process!
