This one day workshop training provides the practical (hands-on) component for the full Infant and Pregnancy Loss certification with Doula Canada.

By registering you will have access to the online theoretical modules, assignments, mentorship, and certification requirements.

Fee:  $375 CAN, or roughly $225 GBP after conversion.

Why take the IPLS program with Doula Canada?

Our trainers have over 15 years of experience navigating the doula world, both in their home countries and abroad.  They bring with them the skills and knowledge of creating a successful doula career, working alongside other professionals, and transferring compassionate support models to all different types and traditions of birthing culture – including that which maneuvres the experience of loss.

Our doulas work through practical, hands-on, modalities and lessons during our one day IPLS training, in preparing our students for working with clients through their most difficult experiences no matter where they reside or bear witness to loss.

Students are provided a two year period of time to complete the full certification requirements (it is a shorter program, but we provide the opportunity to take your time).

By completing this program you will be considered an “Infant and Pregnancy Loss Support Person” acknowledged and approved by Doula Canada, capable of supporting persons through loss on an International capacity.

We encourage all doulas, childbirth educators, birth workers, primary care, community partners working in loss support, and those interested in offering peer support to take this training.
